This allows you to see what it looks like once the Botox has taken effect before adding any filler. But combining Volbella in your lips with the Botox Lip Flip is an outstanding treatment.
When will I see results from my Botox Lip Flip?
It takes about two weeks to see the full results from a Botox Lip Flip. So it’s important to be patient. Also, since the results are so natural, you may not even notice it. That’s why it’s important to take before and after pictures; we do this in the office for you. The other thing you’ll notice is that it may feel strange when you move your lips for the first week after your Botox Lip Flip. When you relax the muscle around your lips with the Botox Lip Flip, it will feel different when you eat, speak, and drink for a few days. Most people notice the biggest difference when they sip from a straw.
How long do the results of a Botox Lip Flip last?
The area around your lips is sensitive. You have many muscles in the area that allow you to move your lips when you eat, speak, smile, etc. And these muscles are relatively small. Therefore, the dose of Botox used for the Botox Lip Flip is quite low, usually four to six units. Because of this, you can expect your results to last about six weeks. The best way to know if you’re a good candidate for a Botox Lip Flip treatment is to look at your lips when you smile; in particular, your upper lip. Relax your lips and look in the mirror. Then smile and see if the appearance of your lips changes. You may notice the vertical height from the top to the bottom of your upper lip gets smaller, as if it’s getting thinner.
